PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico men's soccer senior
Ryan McManus was named to the 2016 All-Heartland team the league office announced on Thursday. The St. Andrews, Scotland, native was named to the second team for his performance during league play.
"Ryan played a huge role on this team as a senior and captain," ENMU Head Coach
Paul Tate said. "He did a really good job of working hard and showing up daily. He worked his tail off in every game. It was a pleasure having him on my team for these last two years as a captain. He will be truly missed, but we wish him all the best in his future endeavors."
McManus started 18 of the Greyhounds 19 games this season and led the team with 1,539 minutes played. Additionally, the captain led ENMU with three goals and was second on the team with a pair of assists. Over his four-year career, the Scotsman played in 66 games for the Greyhounds with 16 goals, eight assists and 40 points.
