PORTALES, NM —With wins in 11 of its last 12 games, the Eastern New Mexico University women's basketball team (12-3; LSC 8-0) continued to receive national recognition. The Greyhounds remained in the receiving votes section of the D2SIDA media poll, and debuted in the same section of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association poll.
Eastern is receiving five votes in this week's poll, after getting two last week. ENMU also ranked fourth in the regional poll, released yesterday. The Hounds also are receiving two votes in the WBCA poll.
Eastern is currently on a five-game win streak, which included home wins against Cameron and Midwestern State, last week.
The Eastern New Mexico University women's basketball team will return to action on Thursday to visit Texas A&M-Kingsville. Tipoff is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. MST.
