Ariel Lopez and Bailey Hampton each had a shot for the Eastern New Mexico University women's soccer team (2-6-3; LSC 1-3-1) in Wednesday evening's Lone Star Conference match. The contest marked the sixth overtime game this season for ENMU, which resulted in a scoreless double-overtime tie against West Texas A&M (4-2-4; LSC 2-0-3) at Al Whitehead Field at Greyhound Stadium.
The shutout marked the first time the Hounds posted back-to-back shutouts at home since the 2014 season. Eastern defeated eighth-ranked Angelo State 2-0 on October 12, 2014, and followed with a 1-0 overtime win over WT.
