Women's Basketball

Barbara Nuckols (St. John) from the women's basketball team, was selected as the Greatest Zia in 1982 and twice was chosen as NAIA District VII Player of the Week. She was named Rookie of the Year in 1981 and Most Valuable Player in 1983-1984. Barbara still stands at eighth in the Zias' all-time scoring list, with 1,189 points.
