Brooks Jennings was a highly decorated member of the ENMU men’s basketball team and received the Al Garten Most Valuable Player Award twice (1957 and 1959). He paced the Greyhounds in scoring in 1957, 1958 and 1959, and was selected Honorable Mention Little All-American in 1959. Jennings served as team captain in 1958 and 1959. Over his career Jennings was coached by fellow ENMU Hall of Honors Inductee Al Garten. His career was capped with a selection as Greatest Greyhound in 1959.
