Eastern New Mexico University Athletics

Charles Chambers was a co-coach of Eastern’s rodeo teams from 1975-97 and head coach from 1978-1998. He led members of the Greyhound rodeo teams to the College National Finals Rodeo in 19 of his 22 seasons. Chambers guided the women’s team to championships at the CNFR in 1981 and 1983 and a second-place finish in 1992. Chambers has remained active with the rodeo program, serves on the Greyhound Club Board and has been one of Eastern’s most loyal supporters.
