Dewey Langston played football four seasons at ENMU and was an all-conference end in 1942. He also played two seasons for the basketball team and boxed for two years. As athletic director from 1970-75, he saw Eastern win four National Championships and take the NAIA All-Sports Trophy on two occasions. Langston also served as the vice president of the NAIA Athletic Director’s Association. He also served as track & field coach from 1951-56 and as an assistant football coach from 1952-56.
