Gabe DeHoyos is considered to be the best pitcher in Greyhound history, posting the second best career earned run average and the lowest batting average given up by an ENMU pitcher in team history. At the time of induction, his 16 wins ranks third in team history, while he was fourth in career saves. A three-time All-Lone Star Conference selection, he garnered first team honors in both 2000 and 2001 and earned two LSC Pitcher of the Week selections.
