Eastern New Mexico University Athletics

After transferring from Howard College, Jack Barron played for the Greyhound football team from 1947-52. He was an all-conference quarterback and also was on the baseball team for two years. While at ENMU he also participated in intramurals and stayed involved through Bench Club. After ENMU Barron was the account executive at El Paso’s NBC affiliate from 1959-92. In 1996 he was chosen as El Paso’s Rotarian of the Year.
