Jamaal Hunnicutt's triple double, set against Abilene Christian on January 29, 2004, included 16 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists, was the first triple double in Greyhound history. At the time of induction, he ranked 11th on the ENMU career-scoring list, with 1,311 points. A three-time, First Team All-Lone Star Conference South Division selection, he was chosen as the LSC South Player of the Year in 2003. Hunnicutt also garnered two all-region selections. Hunnicutt's performance during the 2003-04 season was rewarded with a 20-9 record, a LSC South title and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

- Played in 103 games, making 82 starts, shooting .529 from the field and .751 from free throw line
- Averaged 7.0 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 2.4 assists
- Currently resides in Humble, Texas
- Teaches 8th grade history at Alice Johnson Junior High School
