Les Williams played for the ENMU basketball team from 1971-75 under head coaches Buddy Ball and Sterling Gibson. He received the “Silver Hustle” Award four times and respected the sport of basketball and value of athletics. Williams received the Greyhound Basketball Sportsman Award in 1974. A versatile player, Williams averaged 5.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game.
