Eastern New Mexico University Athletics

Linda Sultemeier competed for the ENMU rodeo team from 1967-70 and finished her final season as the National All-Around Champion after placing second in the goat tying. That year she won eight of the 10 rodeos competed in and earned the title of Southwest Region All-Around Cowgirl. She was a member of Eastern’s 1967 national championship team and helped ENMU finish second in 1968. In 1969 she placed fifth in the breakaway roping.
