Mike Boit held NAIA records in the 1500 and 880m runs and compiled 12 National Titles over his cross country and track & field career at ENMU. His titles included performances in the 1500, 800, cross country, indoor 880m, and indoor mile. One of the most celebrated athletes in school history, Boit also won an Olympic bronze medal for Kenya in the 800-meter run at the 1972 Munich Olympics.
