Shonteau Joshua played for the men’s basketball team from 1991-93 and tallied 1,081 points. He was coached by Earl Diddle and led the Hounds to 38 wins, which included a 23-7 record and Lone Star Conference tournament title as a senior. Joshua’s career was culminated with a selection as Greatest Greyhound. He earned multiple Player of the Week honors and was a Second Team All-LSC selection. In addition to scoring, he averaged six assists, four rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game.
