Football Field House
Greyhound Field House, home to the ENMU Football team, recently underwent $50,000 in renovations. The renovations overseen by the universities physical plant included a new player’s entrance to include a receptions desk, seating area, uniform manikins and pictures. Also included is a new player’s lounge with a flat screen TV/gaming system, barbershop chair and Greyhound Green leather couches for players to relax before and after practice.
Other renovations included new carpet throughout the facility, 100 wooden player/coach lockers, coach’s offices, meeting rooms and a new coaches “war” room. The Greyhound Field House is located next to 2 full-length natural grass practice fields and the new 15 million dollar, Al Whitehead Field at Greyhound Stadium. All renovations were made possible by the generosity of donors and Greyhound Nation.
Quote From The Head Coach:
“Like our program, our locker room has really grown since 2012. When our players and coaches walk into the field house and see all the wonderful support from Greyhound Nation, we feel honored to call it home. From the many generous people who donated money for the lockers, to the hard work the maintenance and physical plant staff put in to keep it nice and updated; our field house is not only a place that we can work and get better in, but also a place that we can relax and bond with our Greyhound Football Family. We are blessed with what we have and enjoy our home.”
