PORTALES, N.M. — After a difficult road trip, the Eastern New Mexico University women's soccer team (3-6-1; LSC 0-3) will return to ENMU Soccer Field for the final home stand of the year. The five-game stretch will start with contests against Texas A&M-Commerce, Texas Woman's, and Texas-Permian Basin over a five-day span.

Last season, Eastern had the opportunity to claim the Lone Star Conference title at home against the Lions. A&M-Commerce earned a hard-fought 1-0 win and hosted the LSC Championships.
Eastern has gone to overtime four times with Texas A&M-Commerce, with three of those contests going into a second overtime period. The last overtime meeting came on September 27, 2013, and was a 2-1 win by the Lions in double overtime.

The series has seen four overtime games, with Eastern holding a 3-0-1 record in those contests. The Hounds are 4-3-1 at home in the series and 3-5 on the road.

The last time the teams met was a 1-0 setback in Odessa, Texas, during the 2011 season. Eastern's last home contest against the Falcons resulted in a 5-3 victory on September 23, 2010. UTPB claimed a 2-1 lead late in the second half, but three consecutive goals from Eastern provided the spark needed to win.
Only two games in the series have reached overtime, with ENMU winning both times. The Hounds won the first five meetings between the teams.
