PUEBLO, COLO. — The Eastern New Mexico University volleyball team moved to 3-2 on the season Friday after defeating St. Edwards University in their second five set match of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED- The Greyhounds fell in a closely fought first set before coming back with a vengeance in sets two and three, beating SEU in those two sets a combined score of 50 to 24.
- The fourth set was the closest set of the match, with ENMU unable to shut the door on the Hilltoppers and being forced to play a fifth set.
- The fifth set started out as a close fight, but ENMU finally pulled away 14-10 and SEU could never recover.
PLAYER HIGHLIGHTS- Lauren Frye led the Greyhounds with 18 kills
- Courtney Lawson had another outstanding all-around performance, recording nine kills, two assists and a team-high six service errors.
- Laura Landreth led the team with a .294 hitting percentage, getting seven kills in 17 attempts with only two errors.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE- Frye is now fourth in the LSC in kills with 84. Her .302 hitting percentage puts her at No. 9 in the conference.
- ENMU as a team is third in the LSC with 2.09 blocks per set.
UP NEXT- The Greyhounds will continue their tournament run at the Steel & Silver Classic with Western State Colorado University at 4:30 p.m., followed by two more games to cap off the tournament Saturday.
