PORTALES, N.M. — After a hard-fought tie at Lubbock Christian, the Eastern New Mexico University women's soccer team will continue its early season road trip at Adams State. The Greyhounds first four matches are away from home, with the team returning to ENMU Soccer Field, next Wednesday.

Last week, Eastern dropped the season opener at Southern Nazarene, but received timely goals from Danielle Caro and Melissa Moxley to earn a tie at Lubbock Christian. Later this week, the Greyhounds will travel to Texas A&M-International for a pair of games.

Inside the Series
The Hounds are 4-0 against Adams State, which included a 2-1 home victory last year. Alyssa Prince tallied the game winner with 4:32 left in regulation. Eastern's last trip to Alamosa, Colo., was in 2013 and resulted in a 1-0 win. Prince also scored the game-winning goal in that contest. The only other time ENMU played Adams State in Colo., took place in Durango on September 5, 2009. Eastern won that game by a 2-0 score on goals from Samantha Lawrence and Danielle Thurman.
