PORTALES, N.M. — The Eastern New Mexico University women's basketball team will continue alternating road and home games this week, with a trip to Tarleton State, before a home game against Texas A&M-Commerce.
Kassandra Harris leads the Greyhounds with 12.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. She also has connected on 47.7 percent of her shots from the floor. Mikaehla Conner also has performed well, with 10 points, 3.9 rebounds and 0.4 blocks per game. Eastern is being outscored by a slim 67.4-64.7 margin. ENMU's 4.5 blocks per game average is the highest total since the statistic has been tracked in the program's history (2000-01). The only other season which saw the Hounds block at least four shots per game is 2006-07.

dropped a wild 79-61 decision at home, to Angelo State. Over the last two games, Harris has paced the Hounds with 18 points and 5.5 boards. Connor and
Jordyn Cooper have been close behind with 13 and 10.5 points per game, respectively.
Last week, Tarleton State dropped LSC decisions against Midwestern State (56-52) and Texas Woman's (61-58). Prior to that skid, the TexAnns had won back-to-back contests against Angelo State and Texas A&M-Kingsville.
Texas A&M-Commerce split a pair of games last week. The Lions dropped an 81-74 decision at Texas Woman's before a 75-53 win over Midwestern State. A&M-Commerce will host West Texas A&M, prior to their visit in Portales.

Greyhound Arena by a 59-54 score on February 24, 2007. The contest featured nine lead changes and six tie scores, with Eastern rallying from a 10-point deficit. Heather Brown poured in 20 points, while Elizabeth Richards scored 13 points. ENMU connected on 18 of 20 shots from the free-throw line.
The last time the Hounds earned a win over Tarleton State on the road was a 51-49 decision on January 29, 2000.
Last season, Tarleton State posted a 17-10 record and finished fourth in the LSC with a mark of 9-7. The TexAnns dropped a 70-62 decision to Texas Woman's at the LSC Tournament.

Tori Tucker poured in 32 points to
lead Eastern to an 81-79 home victory over A&M-Commerce. The contest was tied at 79-all, but
Sarah Stinnett connected on two free throws after drawing a foul with just one second left in the game. Stinnett finished with 17 points, five rebound, six assists and three steals.
Last season, Texas A&M-Commerce posted a 14-14 record and finished sixth in the LSC with a 7-9 mark. The Lions defeated Cameron, 80-65, at the LSC Tournament, before they fell to Midwestern State.
Up NextThe Eastern New Mexico University women's basketball team will visit West Texas A&M, on January 30. The Hounds return home on February 3, to face Texas A&M-Kingsville, before a road trip to Angelo State.
