PORTALES, N.M. – The Eastern New Mexico University men's soccer team picked up a 2-1 win over West Texas A&M on Saturday afternoon. The win, paired with Lubbock Christian's 3-1 win over UTPB, Eastern earned a berth in the Heartland Conference tournament. The win improves the Greyhounds' record to 7-7-4 overall and 5-6-3 in HLC action.

Ryan Sinclair found the back of the net to give ENMU the game winner in the 68
th-minute. The goal came on a free kick from 33 yards out and gave Eastern a 2-1 advantage in the match.
Omary Shabani broke the scoring seal after both teams battled to a 0-0 draw in the first half. Shabani received a pass into the box from
Ignacio Dicun before heading the ball into the back of the net from five yards out as Eastern staked a 1-0 lead in the 53
rd-minute.
