Anniah Galdean tallied her fourth goal of the season with just four second left in Sunday afternoon's Lone Star Conference match at Midwestern State (7-3-1; LSC 2-4). Junior goalkeeper
Marissa Torres made 10 saves, as the Eastern New Mexico University women's soccer team (3-7-1; LSC 2-4) dropped a 2-1 decision at MSU Soccer Field.
The Turning Point
- The teams played to a stalemate for much of the first half, but Hanna Mattinson netter her fifth goal of the season with 11:34 left until halftime
- Destinee Williamson added an insurance goal 5:54 before Galdean's goal, for a 2-0 lead
- The Greyhounds had a pair of shots over the final seven seconds, with MSU's Courtney Burnette saving a shot from Jenna Sievers before Galdean's goal
