PORTALES, N.M. —
Anniah Galdean nearly scored on a breakaway and had three shots on goal for the Eastern New Mexico University women's soccer team (0-1-1), in Monday afternoon's home opener. Fort Lewis College (1-1) scored a quick pair of goals early in the second half, and held on for a 2-0 win over the Greyhounds at Al Whitehead Field at Greyhound Stadium.

- The contest marked the first game for the Hounds at Al Whitehead Field at Greyhound Stadium
- It also was the Skyhawks third trip to play at ENMU. Since Eastern's win in 2006, FLC has won two straight road games against Eastern

- Shayla Malecki tallied her first goal of the season, 8:25 into the second half after she took a pass from Alicia Sanchez

The Eastern New Mexico University women's soccer team will return to action on Friday, to play Adams State. The game contest marks the first night game at home for the Greyhounds and is set to begin at 6 p.m. MT.
