SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Eastern New Mexico University men's basketball team dropped its fourth-straight game with an 84-68 setback on the road at Angelo State. The Greyhounds fall to 7-12 on the season and 1-8 in Lone Star Conference action.

Angelo State opened the game on a 25-6 run over the first eight minutes and eventually took a 47-26 lead into the locker room at the intermission. Junior forward
Chris Lewis picked up 10 points, three rebounds and an assist to lead the offensive attack for Eastern. As a team, the Greyhounds shot just 31.3 percent from the court in the first half, compared to 52.9 percent for the Rams.

Lewis finished with 15 points to lead the Green and Silver while Wyms tacked on 12 and junior guard
Lamarquis Thompson added 11. Both Chris' pulled down five rebounds to clean up the glass for the 'Hounds.

In the second half, Eastern pulled to within 11 with eight minutes to play and 10 with four minutes to play, but was never able to trim the deficit further than that.
