With last weekend's overtime win at Angelo State, the Greyhounds are off to the first 10-0 start to Lone Star Conference play in team history. The team eclipsed the 9-0 mark set for the 1992-93 team. This week, as the Hounds begin the second trip through conference opposition, they will look to sustain their momentum.

Daeshi McCants has a team-leading three double doubles, which included a 14-pont, 11-rebound effort at ASU last weekend. Mikaehla Connor leads ENMU with 11.8 points per game, while Kassandra Harris is right behind, with an 11.6-point average.

Josh Prock is in his fourth season as head coach of the Greyhounds and has a 39-58 record at ENMU.

In the Series with West Texas A&M
Eastern is 15-70 against West Texas A&M with a 12-33 record at home. Earlier in the season, the Hounds snapped a 24-game losing streak in the series, with the first road win over WT since 1981. ENMU used a 20-point effort from Daeshi McCants and a 19-point performance from Mikaehla Connor to rally from a 12-point deficit against the then seventh-ranked Lady Buffs. Brandi Gomez hit four treys to contribute 14 points. WT was paced by a 23-point outing from Sasha Watson. After scoring 25 points in the first half, the Hounds rebounded with a 47-point second half.

The series dates back to the 1974-75 season, which saw the teams split a pair of games.

In the Series with University of Texas of the Permian Basin
Eastern is 2-1 against UT-Permian Basin and picked up a key Lone Star Conference win over the Falcons early in the season. Eastern scored the first 12 points of the game and held a 26-6 lead late in the first quarter. A 17-3 run ignited the Falcon offense, and the lead changed hands 10 times in a wild contest.  A free throw by McCants with just 20 seconds left gave Eastern the lead for good on the way to a 63-62 win.

The series dates back to the 2008-09 season. Eastern has won the last two games against the Falcons.
