SILVER CITY, N.M. – The Eastern New Mexico University volleyball team was tripped up in Silver City, falling to Western New Mexico, 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-17). The loss moves the Greyhounds to 2-7 overall and 0-1 in Lone Star Conference action.

Offensively,
Sarah Tuioti-Mariner led the team with nine kills while freshmen
Jasmine Gannon and
Marissa Ellis each tallied six. ENMU hit just .144 on the match as
Alexis Aguirre and
Kaitlyn Kluna distributed 13 and 12 assists, respectively. Defensively,
Sadie Phimmasone and
Jasmine Gannon recorded a pair of blocks while
Andrea Aguilar had 15 digs in the setback.
