SAN ANGELO, TEXAS —Eurick Perez batted 2-for-2 and scored a run as the Eastern New Mexico University baseball team (19-21; LSC 5-15) concluded a Lone Star Conference series at Foster Field. The Greyhounds controlled the early portion of the game, but Angelo State (28-14; LSC 9-7) rallied for a 7-3 win.

• Eastern has won three of the last five road games in the series dating back to last season
• Perez paced the Hounds with a .500 batting average over the weekend
• The Hounds claimed multiple wins in a road series against the Rams for the first time since 2005

• Garlind Webster scored in the top of the first inning on a ground out from Reynaldo Guillen
• After capitalizing on an error in the fifth to take a 2-0 lead, Malcom Smith cracked a RBI double in the sixth for a 3-0 advantage
• The Rams sent 10 batters to the plate in the bottom of the sixth and seized a 6-3 lead
• Austin Paisar went 5.1 innings and fanned seven batters
• Eleizer Estrella and Levi Shandrew provided strong relief over the final 2.2 innings and scattered five hits
• Shannon Broussard went six innings for Angelo State to garner the win
