Oklahoma Christian Defeats Eastern, 2-1

PORTALES, NM – The Eastern New Mexico women's soccer team fell, 2-1, to Oklahoma Christian University in a Lone Star Conference contest that came down to the wire Wednesday night.

In the 26th minute of the game, the Eagles' goalie attempted to collect the ball, but Elita Casias came up with it after a scrum in front and found the back of the net.

In the second half, Jordan Freidenbloom sent a long shot on goal which got past ENMU's Whitney Dockweiler to make it a 1-1 game.

With less than two minutes left in regulation, Oklahoma Christian saw a foul in the box for a penalty kick. Ellise Foreman took the shot for the Eagles and converted the kick to give her team the 2-1 advantage and eventual win.
