PORTALES, NM - The Eastern New Mexico women's soccer team is ready for two more Lone Star Conference opponents this week. The Greyhounds travel to the University of Texas Permian Basin on Wednesday, October 20 at 4 p.m. before hosting #5 Dallas Baptist University on Saturday, Oct. 23 at 12 p.m.
HOUNDS' LAST TIME OUT
• Eastern is coming off a 3-2 overtime loss to Texas A&M International on Saturday, October 16.

Katey Stice netted both of the Eastern goals in the first half of the contest.
•
Whitney Dockweiler made three saves on the evening.
• Stice led the team in shots (6) and shots on goal (4).

Tori Galindo was credited with an assist on the second Greyhound goal.
• TAMIU held a slight 15-12 shot advantage overall.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
• The UT Permian Basin women's soccer team enters the week with an overall record of 1-12 and 0-8 in the Lone Star Conference. The Falcons are coming off a 4-0 loss to St. Edward's on Saturday, Oct. 16. UTPB's leading scorer is Yarley Orona with three goals. Alexandra Sanchez and Yareli Barrera are close behind with two goal each. Jenna McEnaney has seen the most time in net for the Falcons and has a 4.10 goals against average this season.
• Dallas Baptist University enters the week with an overall record of 11-2 and 7-1 in the LSC (as of 10/18). In the most recent United Soccer Coaches Poll, DBU is ranked #5 in the country. The Patriots will face St. Mary's on Wednesday, Oct. 20 before they battle the Greyhounds. On Saturday, Oct. 16, DBU handed Midwestern State a 4-2 loss. Delaney Schmidt paces the offense with eight goals, while Abigail Olmos and Ashley Merrill are close behind with seven each. Hailey Brown has seen the most time in net for the Patriots and has a 0.95 goals against average.
