PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico volleyball are set to travel this weekend for a pair of Lone Star Conference (LSC) away matches. First, the Greyhounds will face Cameron University on Friday evening, with a 4:30 p.m. MST start in Lawton, Okla. The next day, ENMU will head to Midwestern State University on Saturday in Wichita Falls, Texas, with a scheduled start time of 11 a.m. MST.

LAST TIME OUT
The Greyhounds come into this weekend's games off the back of a 3-0 sweep of Oklahoma Christian on Saturday afternoon. The Hounds fell in their opening game of the weekend, 3-0 against UAFS.

SCOUTING THE HOUNDS
After Saturday's win, ENMU sit at 2-15 overall, while sporting a 2-7 conference record. As a team, the Hounds are finding 10.6 kills per set (k/s), while adding 9.6 assists per set (a/s) for the offense. Defensively, Eastern are suppling 12.3 digs per set (d/s), and contributing 2.0 blocks per set (b/s) at the net.

Jasmine Gannon is the Greyhounds main contributor on offense and defense. The outside hitter is averaging 2.85 k/s, while finding 2.84 d/s in the back row.
Mikaela Garvin and
Gracelyn Stubbs are also a threat on offense, with 2.07 k/s and 2.05 k/s, respectively.
Rae Sapiga paces the Greyhounds with 4.55 a/s, while
Qitana Sapiga is just behind with 3.70 a/s.
Daejia Rodriguez supplies 2.51 d/s in defense, and Stubbs is providing 0.80 b/s up front.
Jordan O'Connor-Dempsey is also contributor at the net, with 0.79 b/s.

Around the conference, the Hounds are holding opponents to 13.31 d/s, which is second among LSC teams. ENMU also stand in fourth when it comes to opponent blocks, just allowing 1.67 b/s.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
Cameron University
Cameron enter Fridays contest after falling in a midweek non-conference match against Northwestern Oklahoma State, 3-0. The Aggies have had a difficult season, standing at 1-21 on the season, with a 0-10 LSC record.
Offensively, CU are suppling 9.6 k/s with 8.7 a/s. As a defense, Cameron is sporting 13.7 d/s with 1.9 b/s.
Alanni Carter and Arianna Navarrete lead the attack with 2.62 k/s and 2.53 k/s, respectively. As for assisting, Desiree Marmolejo has emerged as the leader with 4.71 a/s, while Noemie Narbonne has 4.01 a/s on the season. The Aggies defensively are spread across four players averaging more than 2.30 d/s: Presley Shearin (2.49 d/s), Sydney Bolin (2.38 d/s), Navarrete (2.34 d/s), and Carter (2.32 d/s). Taylor Hervey (0.97 b/s) and Jessica Lipkit (0.90 b/s) lead the team in blocks.
Midwestern State University
The Mustangs and Greyhounds will tangle for the second time this season, with MSU earning a 3-0 victory on Sept. 10 over the Hounds in a non-conference match. Coming into the weekend, Midwestern sit at 3-15 on the year, with a 1-9 conference standing. Recently, MSU fell to Western New Mexico University on Saturday Oct. 16, 3-0.
On the season, the Mustangs are providing 11.6 k/s with 10.8 a/s. On defense, Midwestern are averaging 13.9 digs, while adding 1.5 b/s.
In attack, Lauryn Bourne is leader in kills with 2.72 k/s, along with Lissette Lefforge adding 2.31 k/s. Autumn Roach patrols the middle of the court with 5.53 a/s. On defense, Amy DeWalt is finding 3.88 d/s, while Lefforge is the teams leader in blocks with 0.84 b/s.
