PORTALES, NM - The Eastern New Mexico women's soccer team heads to St. Mary's University for a 6 p.m. Lone Star Conference contest on Saturday, October 9.
HOUNDS' LAST TIME OUT
• Eastern is coming off a 3-1 loss to St. Edward's University on October 2.

Samantha Vasquez scored the Greyhound's lone goal of the contest in the second half on a long free kick into the upper right-hand corner of the net. Vasquez's goal was the first of her collegiate career.

Selena Casias and
Alda Tarrado Montoliu paced the team in shots with two each.

Whitney Dockweiler made eight saves in net.
• The Hilltoppers outshot the Greyhounds, 16-11. St. Edward's also held the advantage on corner kicks, 7-2.
SCOUTING THE RATTLERS
• St. Mary's enters Saturday's contest with an overall record of 5-4-0 and a 2-2-0 mark in the Lone Star Conference. The Rattlers are coming of a close 1-0 overtime loss to Midwestern State on Oct. 2.
• Miranda Narvaez paced the St. Mary's offense with seven shots and two shots on goal during the contest. Rebecca Difronzo recorded four saves in net.
