STAFFORD, Texas – The Eastern New Mexico football team traveled to play North American University on Saturday, November 6. The Greyhounds came away with a 70-21 victory over the Stallions.
North American picked up the first touchdown of the game just under five minutes into the contest but the Hounds quickly responded with a score of their own to less than a minute later to even the game at 7-7.
Eastern continued to rack up the touchdowns in the first half, taking a 42-7 lead at the halftime break.
In the second half, NAU managed to score a touchdown in each quarter but the Greyhound offense dominated to score seven points in the third frame and 21 points in the fourth to earn the 70-21 win.
