PORTALES, N.M. - The Eastern New Mexico spirit squad is excited to announce tryouts for the 2021-22 year. 

Tryouts will be held virtually by way of an application and a video submission by those interested in being a member of the spirit squad. Individuals will be evaluated and finalists will be contacted at the conclusion of such evaluations. Finalists will be asked to attend a practice with all finalists to then be evaluated on team dynamic, versatility, and preferred skills. The dates for such will be announced at a later time. 

Anyone interested in trying out for the team must follow the instructions on making a video submission and send the video link as well as the applicant information form to head coach BJ Burnet via email (BJ.Bernet@enmu.edu). All submissions and applications are due by Monday, May 3, 2021. No late submissions will be accepted. 

During this COVID-19 pandemic, we are aware space may be limited to you. You will not be deducted for where your video is made, so be creative. Please be sure videos are of high resolution quality and there is no background noise.
