LUBBOCK, TEXAS – In a back-and-forth contest, Eastern New Mexico Women's Soccer and Lubbock Christian University played out an entertaining 0-0 draw on Tuesday evening at the LCU Soccer & Track Complex. ENMU shift to 4-10-2 on the season, with a conference standing of 2-7-2. Meanwhile, LCU move to 8-2-7, along with an LSC record of 5-2-4.
Eastern were the first team to have a sight of goal, with
Karlee Scott finding an opening in the defense and having their shot saved in the opening 20 minutes. Shortly after, Lubbock Christian fired its first shot on goal with
Samantha Jeffries picking up their first save of the night. As the half came to an end, the home team came close hitting the crossbar and Jeffries denying another Chaparrals shot on goal.

Coming out of the locker room, Lubbock Christian was denied of the opening goal by the crossbar 13 minutes into the half. Jeffries was called into action just after LCU hit the bar, then
Tori Galindo provided an effort on goal midway through the second half. With 16 minutes to play, ENMU was denied by the crossbar after
Abby Ditzler's header rattled the bar. With time running out, LCU had one last chance in the 90
th minute to win the match, but Jeffries was equal to a Graycen Rasmussen shot to end the contest 0-0.

- The Greyhounds and Chaparrals finished in a tie for the second time in the series history, playing out a 2-2 draw in 2015. Tonight's 0-0 draw is the first time Eastern has held LCU scoreless in the series history.
