ODESSA, Texas — After going 2-2 over the weekend, Kali Nelson and Gracelyn Stubbs were named to the Dr. Steve Aicinema "Iceman" Iceman All-Tournament Team. The Greyhounds picked up 3-0 wins over University of the Southwest and Southeastern Oklahoma State.
 
Nelson finished the weekend with 35 kills, a hitting percentage of .446 (leads team in hitting percentage), and seven blocks, totaling 38.5 points. Nelson had a career match against Augustana in the Greyhounds 3-2 defeat. The opposite hitter compiled a team best 14 kills, with a hitting % of .458, and tallied 15.5 points (all career highs).

Meanwhile, Stubbs helped the Greyhounds on both offense and defense over the weekend, finished with 30 kills (3^rd on team), .348 hitting percentage (2^nd on team), 15.0 blocks (2^nd of the team), and 39.5 points (2^nd on team). In the 3-0 win over USW, Stubbs posted seven kills without and attack error, finishing with a .636 hitting percentage. The middle blocker also contributed nine kills and a game-high six blocks in the loss against Augustana.

Eastern return to the floor when they travel to Plainview, Texas, facing Wayland Baptist on Tuesday, Aug. 30, with the first serve at 5 p.m.
