PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico will welcome fans to Greyhound Arena for the first time this season, as the Greyhounds will host a pair of Lone Star Conference matches over the weekend. First, ENMU will play Oklahoma Christian on Friday evening, with first serve at 6 p.m. Then, University of Arkansas-Fort Smith come to Portales, N.M. on Saturday to face the Greyhounds with a noon start time.
LAST TIME OUT
In its final weekend of non-conference action, the Greyhounds picked up three wins over three conference opponents. First, the Greyhounds posted a 3-1 win over Oklahoma Christian on Friday, Sept. 8. Then, Eastern bested the hosts St. Edward's in a back-and-forth 3-2 contest. Against the Hilltoppers, ENMU provided a season best 100 digs. To wrap up the weekend, the Greyhounds came away 3-2 winners over Texas A&M-Kingsville. In the match, ENMU set a season high for kill (75), assists (65), and total blocks (15).

SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS
As a group, the Greyhounds are producing 12.0 kills per set (k/s), along with a .204 hitting percentage. The offense is also posting 10.8 assists per set (a/s), and 1.6 service aces. Defensively, Eastern are finding 16.7 digs per set (d/s) and are finding 2.2 blocks per set (b/s). Additionally, ENMU are holding teams to just 10.06 k/s (2
nd best in LSC), while holding opposing teams hitting percentage to .118 (Best in LSC).
Mikaela Garvin paces the attack with 3.06 k/s and leads the defense at the net with 0.85 b/s.
Jaylynn Nihipali facilitates the offense with 184 assists this season (4.97 a/s).
Getsemani Carrasco leads the Greyhounds in digs this season with 284 (5.04 d/s).

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
OC and the Greyhounds will meet up for the second time in just eight days after meeting at the LSC crossover last weekend. The Eagles stand at 7-4 overall on the season. The Eagles picked up a win over Texas A&M-Kingsville during the crossover.
As a team, the Eagles are hitting 11.8 kills per set, with a .182 hitting percentage. Oklahoma Christian is posting 10.9 assists per set, along with 1.4 service aces per set for its attack. On defense, OC are providing 19.1 digs per set and 2.6 blocks per set.
Sydney Collins paces the Eagles with 3.13 points per game, while leading the team with 2.62 k/s. Wendy Cobbah also contributes 2.62 k/s to the Eagles offense. Olivia Hessman sets up most of the attack, with 5.31 assists per set. Brylie Berryman is the standout on defense with 4.43 digs per set. Meanwhile, Morgan Demuth and Kelsie Schiefelbein provide the blocks at the net with 1.22 b/s and 1.12 b/s, respectively.
SCOUTING THE LIONS
Entering the weekend, UAFS hold a record of 6-5 and will play Lubbock Christian University on Friday, Sept. 16, before playing the Greyhounds. This past weekend, the Lions went 1-2 during a trip to Dallas, Texas for the LSC Crossover. UAFS picked up a win over St. Mary's while falling to UT Permian Basin and DBU.
The Lions are averaging 12.7 k/s and hold a .220 hitting percentage (5
th in LSC). The offense dishes out 11.7 a/s and adds 1.8 service aces per frame. Defensively, UAFS are providing 17.1 d/s and suppling 1.5 b/s.
Reagan Macha powers the offense with 3.17 kills per set, while Chole Price sets up most of the attack with 10.02 a/s (4
