Greyhounds drop conference matchup

ENMU comes up short at Texas A&M-Kingsville

KINGSVILLE, Texas – ENMU football lost a conference road match against Texas A&M-Kingsville, 43-10.

The game started off with the Javelinas marching into the redzone before a fumble gave the Hounds their first possession of the ball game.

TAMUK scored first with a touchdown on the following possession. ENMU used a nice connection from Kason Martin to Asa Wondeh to setup a 40-yard field goal from Cooper Hamilton. His kick puts him at 5-for-5 on the year.

The Javelinas went on to hold the Greyhounds scoreless until late in the fourth quarter when Tafari Gomillion found the back of the endzone for the first time this season.

Next week ENMU hosts the annual Homecoming game at Greyhound Stadium against Central Washington. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. During halftime, the seven Hall of Honors recipients will be recognized.
