AUGUSTA, Ga. – Senior wing
Jahcoree Ealy is the D2CIDA (Division II Conference Information Directors Association) national men's basketball player of the week.
The Conway, Ark. native is the first Greyhound to earn the recognition ever. The honor comes after a week that saw him earn Lone Star Conference offensive player of the week after averaging 36.5 points per game and guiding ENMU to a 2-0 record.
"It is an honor for Jahcoree and our program to be recognized on the national level," said head coach
Brent Owen. "He continues to remain humble and focused on the success of our team. He has been playing some incredible basketball and we are thankful that people across the country are taking notice."
Ealy is first in the league averaging 24.9 points per game and is second in total points (199) and field goals (71). He is the first student-athlete from an LSC school this season to earn the recognition.
