PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico University Athletics is partnering with Opendorse as the department's official NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) platform for student-athletes.
Easter
NIL will provide ENMU student-athletes with access to content and educational tools coming from industry leaders on topics like entrepreneurship, financial literacy, brand building, social media, and mental health.
"This partnership elevates our student-athlete experience in ways we are only even beginning to understand," said Director of Athletics Dr. Paul Weir on the opportunity to provide Easter
NIL to Greyhound student-athletes. "At this inception point, we are providing our young men and women with a cutting edge education in real-world applications coupled with an immediate opportunity for growing their own individual brand and resources. We are ecstatic to begin this journey with Opendorse and our student-athletes and see where it takes us."
Eastern New Mexico is just the third Lone Star Conference institution to form a relationship with Opendorse. The other two schools include DBU and West Texas A&M.
The platform will provide each student-athlete an Opendorse profile where they can review opportunities, receive deals, accept compensation, and disclose NIL activities within the application.
Businesses can view a student-athletes profile and request partnerships directly through the Opendorse webpage. Additional information will be provided at a later time.
