RICHARDSON, Texas - The Lone Star Conference recognized 2,460 student-athletes on the Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Fall 2023 semester, including 156 from Eastern New Mexico University.
"Congratulations to the 156 student-athletes that are being recognized by the Lone Star Conference as members of the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll," said head softball coach and senior woman administrator
Amanda Fefel on the recognition of Greyhound student-athletes. "These student-athletes should be very proud of their accomplishments in the classroom and putting their academics at the highest priority."
The honor is given at the conclusion of the fall and spring semesters to student-athletes based on grade point average for the specified semester. To be eligible, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.30 grade-point average for the semester and be on the sport roster.
ENMU football had the most recipients (43) out of all programs at Eastern. Women's soccer (28), men's soccer (17), softball (14), baseball (14), and volleyball (10) all had ten or more student-athletes earn the distinction.
