PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico have reached the halfway point of its conference schedule, returning home to face St. Mary's (Friday, October 25, 6 p.m.) and St. Edward's (Saturday, October 26, 2 p.m.). The Greyhounds will be holding Youth Night on Friday evening, with a meet and greet with the players following the match.

SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS

• The Greyhounds hope to snap an eight-game losing skid, looking for their first conference win of the season. Overall, the team stands at 3-16 with a 0-8 standing. Recently, ENMU suffered a pair of 3-0 sweeps at the hands of UT Tyler and #25 DBU.
• Leading the offense, Darcy Dodd averages just under three kills per set (2.97 k/s) as Sophia Valdez contributes 2.18 k/s. Cayla Reyes paces the Greyhounds for assists, finding 4.42 assists per set. Dodd (16) and Reyes (15) are the teams leaders for service aces.
• Imahni Brown provides a team high 4.09 d/s, as Dodd (2.69 d/s) and Halle Sanders (2.25 d/s) also chip in defensively.
• The Greyhound's blocking is finding 1.44 b/s, with Brianna Hernandez' 0.71 b/s ((39.0 total blocks) leading the team. Randi Crandall has 39.0 blocks this season, while Valdez adds 33.0 total blocks on the season.

SCOUTING THE RATTLERS

• St. Mary's also looks to snap a losing streak, falling in their last four games after winning seven consecutive games. Overall, the Rattlers hold a 12-7 overall standing with a 4-4 conference record. In their last matches, StMU fell in four sets to Texas Woman's and three sets in a road contest with Midwestern State.
• Alicia Virthe paces the team's attack with 3.34 k/s, while Landri Withers supplies 2.74 k/s. Cali Nims is the primary setter for the Rattlers, contributing 10.79 assists per set (3^rd in LSC). Virthe stands in the top 10 for service aces with 27 overall (0.39 sa/s), while Alyssa Koehl provides 22 service aces this season.
• Koehl leads the team on defense with 5.53 d/s, leading the whole Lone Star Conference.  Nims adds 2.94 d/s, while Landri Withers contributes 2.83 d/s. • St. Mary's has dominated the match up of recent, winning eight of the last nine matches, including five in a row. This will be just the fifth matchup as conference opponents, with ENMU hoping to notch their first LSC win over St. Mary's. Overall, the Greyhounds trail 7-11 with St. Mary's, with the Greyhounds holding a 3-2 standing at home.

SCOUTING THE HILLTOPPERS

• St. Edward's come into Saturday's matchup at 9-10 on the season, holding a 1-7 conference record. The Hilltoppers are in a difficult stretch of the season, losing eight of their last nine games, including the last five games.
• Mia Clay (3.47 k/s) and Kelli Fording (3.07 k/s) spearhead the offense for the Hilltoppers, with Clay being 7^th in the LSC for kills per set. Althea Morris posts a team high 10.36 a/s.
• Defensively, seven different student-athletes average over 2.00 digs per set. Giselle Ojeda leads the effort with 2.91 d/s, with Morris contributing 2.65 d/s. At the net, Cora Young has 62.0 total blocks this season, with blocks per set just under one (0.97 b/s).
• St. Edward's have a 12-5 advantage against the Greyhounds in the all-time series. The teams have split the last four meetings, with ENMU both meetings in 2022, and the Hilltoppers claiming both matches last season. SEU travels to Portales just for the third fourth time in program history, as the Greyhounds trail 1-3.
