PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico Volleyball returns to Steve Loy Family Foundation Arena this Saturday to take on Sul Ross State University. First serve in the conference matchup is set for 2 p.m.

SERIES INSIGHT

• ENMU and SRSU meet for the second time this season, with the Greyhounds winning the first match 3-1 (Sept. 20). Overall, Eastern leads Sul Ross State 23-11 in the all-time series.
• In the meeting earlier this season, Eastern rattled off three consecutive set win after Sul Ross State picked up the first set (3-1). Darcy Dodd led the way with 14 kills, while Cayla Reyes (23 assists) and Abigayle Falefia (20 assists) helped run the offense. Both Imahni Brown (24 digs) and Dodd (21) supported the defense.
• Currently, the Greyhounds own a 23-match winning streak against the Lobos. Sul Ross State won the first 11 meetings between the two schools, with the last win for SRSU coming in 1980.
• The Greyhounds will play the Lobos for the first time as conference opponents, with all other meetings being non-conference.

SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS

• The Greyhounds hope to bounce back following its 3-0 loss against Oklahoma Christian this past Wednesday. ENMU has a 4-18 overall record, while sitting 1-10 in the Lone Star Conference.
• Dodd leads the Greyhounds attack with three kills per set, while Sophia Valdez contributes 2.35 k/s. Both Dodd and Reyes have 20 service aces to lead the team. Additionally, Reyes has a team high of 5.11 a/s to lead all setters.
• Defensively, Brown leads the Greyhounds with 4.03 d/s, with Dodd being the next highest with 2.79 d/s. Reyes contributes 2.44 d/s, while Halle Sanders adds 2.31 d/s.
• Randi Crandall leads the team with 46.0 total blocks (0.58 b/s), while Brianna Hernandez has a team high 0.66 b/s (44.0 total blocks). Valdez is also a key component of the blocking game with 0.53 b/s (42.0 total blocks).

SCOUTING THE LOBOS
