LUBBOCK, Texas – The home Lubbock Christian Chaparrals (6-6-5, 3-4-3 LSC) scored three goals in the final 12 minutes to beat Eastern New Mexico Men's Soccer (4-7-6, 2-5-3 LSC) on Wednesday evening at LCU Soccer & Track Complex.
Lubbock Christian controlled the early stages of the game, with
Milo Paci making four saves for the Greyhounds in the opening thirty minutes. However, it was the Greyhounds who struck first, scoring with their first shot on goal. After
Loris Tsiatsipy recovered possession in the midfield,
Pablo Nodar played a clipped ball over the top of the defense to connect with Giani Mascarerl. Mascarel, who made a run from midfield, took the ball down and smashed it past the keeper to give ENMU the lead.

After holding onto the 1-0 lead into the locker room, the Greyhounds maintained their advantage late into the second half as neither team produced a shot on goal for the first 30 minutes of the period. However, LCU tied the game in the 78
th minute, pouncing on a loose ball in the penalty area. Shortly after, the Chaps put three shots on goal in the span of a minute, scoring on the last attempt to take the lead in the 82
nd minute. The Chaps sealed the match with a goal with less than two minutes left to play, finishing the scoring at 3-1 LCU.
