PORTALES, N.M. – Following an opening night draw, Eastern New Mexico Women's Soccer conclude its home weekend against Fort Lewis on Saturday, Sept. 7, beginning at 11 a.m. at Al Whitehead Field at Steve Loy Family Foundation Arena.

SERIES INSIGHT

• In what is becoming a yearly matchup, the Greyhounds meet Fort Lewis for the 14^th time (8^th season in a row).
• The Skyhawks have the upper hand in the all-time series, as Eastern has a 2-9-2 standing against FLC.
• Both teams battle in Portales for the seventh time, with the last game played in Portales finishing 2-0 Fort Lewis. Each of ENMU's wins has come at home against Fort Lewis.
• The first ever meeting between the two schools occurred in 2005 in Durango, Colo., with Fort Lewis taking a 3-1 win.

SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS

• Eastern New Mexico scored a second half goal to force a 1-1 draw in their season opener with Adams State.
• Mariana Gonzalez Jimenez scored the Greyhound goal, whipping a ball into the top corner in the 53^rd minute.
• Katelyn Aune intercepted an Adams State clearance, playing Gonzalez Jimenez towards goal for an assist.
• In the net, Rosie Willmott Joyce made five saves in the second half to help see out the draw.
• Both teams committed 10 fouls, while Adams State held the edge on shots (11-7) and shots on goal (6-2).

SCOUTING THE SKYHAWKS

• Fort Lewis opened their season on the road against Lubbock Christian, scoring a late goal to earn a 1-1 draw with the Chaps.
• Ashlyn Salas connected with an Abila Tapia pass to start the scoring for the Skyhawks, while Gabi Meraz-Fishbein posted nine shots and four on goal to lead all competitors.
• Two goalkeepers played for the Skyhawks, with Riley Bravin making two saves in the opening 45 minutes, while Katlyn Rosenbaum saved four shots with one goal conceded.
• Fort Lewis registered 18 shots, including nine on goal in the tie with Lubbock Christian with nine fouls.
