PORTALES, N.M. - The Eastern New Mexico University women's soccer team will look to secure their first win of the season when they travel to Sul Ross State University in a Lone Star Conference match up on Wednesday in Alpine, Texas. Kick-off is slated for 12 p.m. (MT) / 1 p.m. (CST) at the Lobo Soccer Field.

The Greyhounds, coming off a 4-0 road loss to Oklahoma Christian on October 11, have struggled offensively this season, scoring just one goal through their first ten matches while allowing 47. Louise Godden has been the lone goal scorer for ENMU, recording 11 shots with four on goal for a .364 shot-on-goal percentage.

Sul Ross State enters the contest with similar challenges, posting a 1-10 overall record and matching ENMU's 0-7 conference mark. The Lobos have managed three goals this season while conceding 30 through eleven matches. Cali Trigg leads Sul Ross with two goals and four points, while Kari Villatoro has added one goal.

Both teams have faced significant statistical disadvantages against their opponents this season. ENMU has been outshot 237-49, with opponents holding a 121-24 edge in shots on goal and a 74-11 advantage in corner kicks. Similarly, Sul Ross State has been outshot 265-57, with opponents recording 143 shots on goal compared to the Lobos' 28, while trailing 87-11 in corner kicks.

In goal, the Greyhounds have rotated between three keepers, with Rosie Willmott Joyce seeing the most action with seven appearances, recording 45 saves and a .577 save percentage. The Lobos have relied primarily on Emmy Finlinson, who has played in nine matches, making 91 saves with an .805 save percentage.
