PORTALES, N.M. - The Eastern New Mexico women's soccer team is at home on Wednesday for a Lone Star Conference match up against St. Edward's. Kick-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium.

• SEU leads the series 7-0 over the Greyhounds
SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS
• The Greyhounds were selected 14th in the Lone Star Conference (LSC) preseason poll, with
Gaia Chies (Offensive),
Cristina Boluda Piqueras (Defensive), and
Rosie Willmott Joyce (Goalkeeper) all being named players to watch.
• ENMU has recruited a smaller first-year class, with 5 individuals taking part of their first collegiate season and 7 returners from last seasons squad.
• The Greyhounds are coming off a home conference match where ENMU fell to Lubbock Christian, 7-0.
• The Greyhounds managed seven shots in the contest, with
Meredith Brown and
Simone Brothers leading the offensive efforts with one shot on goal apiece. ENMU recorded three corner kicks in the match.

Louise Godden scored the first goal of the season for the Greyhounds off a corner kick in the 82nd minute against UT Dallas on September 24. The ball slipped past the keeper's hands into the top left corner of the goal.
• Looking ahead, ENMU will hit the road for a conference match against Oklahoma Christian on Saturday, October 11. Kick-off is scheduled for 12 p.m. (MST) / 1 p.m. (CST) at the Eagle Soccer Field in Edmond, Okla.
SCOUTING THE HILLTOPPERS
• The SEU Hilltoppers were selected sixth in the LSC after receiving 435 votes.
• Annie Rocha returns to SEU after a stellar LSC Freshman of the Year season, earning All-Region and All-LSC First Team after scoring 10 goals, including three game-winners, ranking second in the conference.
• Rocha leads the team with six goals (third in the LSC), an assist, and has attempted 42 shots on the year, second in the LSC.
• The Hilltoppers have fired off 143 shots this season compared to their opponents 132.
• Goalkeeper Daria Schlumbohm has started all ten matches for the Hilltoppers while recording 40 saves and a 0.690 save percentage.
• SEU is coming off a 1-2 conference loss to Midwestern State on Saturday afternoon.
