ENMU Athletics announces Daley Stewart as Athletics Business Coordinator

Artesia, N.M. native to join athletics department in administrative role

PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico Athletics has hired Daley Stewart as the athletics business coordinator.

Stewart is no stranger to ENMU as she has served as the administrative assistant for the agriculture department since June 2022.

"Looking forward to having Daley join us in the athletics department," said director of athletics Kevin Fite on the addition of Stewart. "She is going to be a great asset to our department and will support our coaches in a great way."

In her time with the agriculture department, Stewart helped complete course schedules and monitored the department's budget. She also assisted the faculty with various needs like travel vouchers and complete purchase card statements.

The Artesia, N.M. native also has worked for First American Bank as a trust assistant and at the Curry County Detention Center (CCDC) where she was a records clerk.

With First American Bank, she helped with transactions and maintained the companies file system. Stewart was also a member of the Berliner scholarship committee in her time with the position.

At CCDC, she organized and maintained confidential files. She was responsible for communicating regularly with court personnel, arresting agencies, and attorneys. She assisted CCDC with data entry and completing background checks.

Stewart earned her associate's in general studies from ENMU in 2017. She is currently working on a bachelor's in business administration and is aspiring to complete a master's in sports administration.
