GREENWOOD, Ind. – Both Julieta Ceja and Daci Smith of Eastern New Mexico Women's Basketball have both been recognized as Academic All-District® Honorees from the College Sports Communicators (CSC), on Tuesday morning. Ceja and Smith earn the honor for the first time in their career.

Appearing in every game for the Greyhounds, Ceja made a big impact leading the team in minutes (23.6 mpg), while scoring 7.2 ppg and finding 5.0 rpg. The junior supplied two double-doubles on the season, including 11 points and 12 rebounds against Lubbock Christian. Ceja is pursuing a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology Composite, having been named to the LSC Commissioner's honor roll five times.

Smith earns their first career honor for the CSC, playing in 28 of the Greyhounds 31 games this season. The sophomore from Roswell, N.M. specialized in three-point shooting, finishing second on the team in three-point shooting percentage (37.9%), making 25 three-pointers over the season (3^rd best on team). Smith is a Biology major, garnering three LSC Commissioner Honor Roll accolades.

In order to be considered for the CSC Academic All-America program, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve, playing in 90% of the team's games or start in 66.6% of the team's games with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution.
