PORTALES, N.M. - The Eastern New Mexico women's soccer team hosts UT Dallas for a Lone Star Conference match up on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. at the Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium for Faculty/Staff Appreciation Night.

• This match marks the first meeting between the two programs.
SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS
• The Greyhounds were selected 14th in the Lone Star Conference (LSC) preseason poll, with
Gaia Chies (Offensive),
Cristina Boluda Piqueras (Defensive), and
Rosie Willmott Joyce (Goalkeeper) all being named players to watch.
• ENMU has recruited a smaller first-year class, with 5 individuals taking part of their first collegiate season and 7 returners from last seasons squad.
• The Greyhounds are coming off a home contest where the Greyhounds lost to UT Permian Basin, 3-0.

Louise Godden led the Greyhounds in shots, with three total and one shot on goal.

• Looking ahead, ENMU will hit the road for a road conference match with #4 DBU on Saturday.
SCOUTING THE COMETS
• The UT Dallas women's soccer team was projected to finish 12th in the conference, receiving 168 total points.
• Senior Chelsea Vilca, who notched 10 goals and four assists last year, and sophomore Jules Chavez, with nine goals and four assists, are expected to be key contributors.
• Vilca and Robison were among the 39 student-athletes on the LSC Preseason Players to watch list.
• Vilca and Thompson both lead the conference in goals at six apiece while Thompson leads the conference in points with 14.
• UTD is coming off its first loss of the season on the road at Midwestern State on Saturday, 2-1.
