PORTALES, N.M. - The Eastern New Mexico University women's soccer team hits the road for a conference match against nationally-ranked DBU. The match is scheduled for 12 p.m. (MT) / 1 p.m. (CST) at the Patriot Soccer Field in Dallas, Texas.

SERIES INSIGHT
•    DBU leads the series 7-0 over the Greyhounds



SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS
•    The Greyhounds were selected 14th in the Lone Star Conference (LSC) preseason poll, with Gaia Chies (Offensive), Cristina Boluda Piqueras (Defensive), and Rosie Willmott Joyce (Goalkeeper) all being named players to watch.
•    ENMU has recruited a smaller first-year class, with 5 individuals taking part of their first collegiate season and 7 returners from last seasons squad.
•    The Greyhounds are coming off a home contest where the Greyhounds lost to UT Dallas, 4-1.
•    Louise Godden scored the first goal of the season for the Greyhounds off a corner kick in the 82nd minute. The ball slipped past the keeper's hands into the top left corner of the goal.
•    Keeper Rosie Willmott Joyce recorded four saves on the evening. Godden took two shots and Brooklyn Guajardo, Simone Brothers, and Sophia Jeffres took one shot apiece in the match against the Comets.
•    Looking ahead, ENMU will hit the road for a road conference match with Texas Women's this coming Wednesday.

SCOUTING THE PATRIOTS
•    The #4 DBU Patriots were selected to win the LSC after receiving 650 votes and 29 first-place votes. 
•    The Patriots have seven players with a pair of goals this season in Parker Coe, Anne Louthan, Angelina Olmos, Riley Olsen, Skylar Belengar, Kenzi Tufts, and Ashley Washburn.
•    McKenna Vela and Chandler Wheat leads DBU with three assists each
•    Goalkeeper Mikaela Gracia has played in all seven matches this season and has only allowed two goals and tallied four saves.
•    DBU is coming off a 2-1 road conference win over UT Tyler this past Wednesday.
•    The Patriots finished 2nd in the NCAA Regional Tournament past season.
