PORTALES, N.M. – ENMU volleyball sets off on a busy week beginning with a contest against New Mexico Highlands on Tuesday, October 6 at 6 p.m. at the John A. Wilson Complex in Las Vegas, N.M. The Hounds will then have an exciting weekend starting with a match versus Sul Ross State at home on Friday, October 9, starting at 6 p.m. for youth night. The last match of the weekend will take place at home on Saturday, October 10 at 2 p.m. against Western New Mexico University for pink day.

SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS
Eastern split a pair of games this past week after going 3-1 over Lubbock Christian on Tuesday, September 29 and falling 2-3 to West Texas A&M this past Friday. These contests put Eastern's overall record at 5-11 and 2-4 in conference play.
Sophia Valdez continues to lead the Greyhounds with 227 kills, earning 3.44 kills per set hitting a .173 and sitting at fifth in the conference for kills.
Amya Speller follows with 176 kills and hitting a .274. Speller also leads the team defensively with 43.0 blocks on the season, 14 solo and 29 assists.
Jordan Garcia also leads the team defensively with 184 digs, earning 3.68 digs per set and sitting at sixth in the conference for service aces, recording 19 on the season.
Sydney Pipkin runs the offense for the Greyhounds, leading the team with 506 assists going 7.67 assists per set. Pipkin sits at sixth in the conference for assists. She has also added 72 kills, 16 service aces, 146 digs, and 16.0 blocks on the season.

SCOUTING THE COWGIRLS
- Highlands holds an overall record of 3-13 and 1-5 in the RMAC conference after splitting a pair of games this past weekend.
- The Cowgirls dropped a match to Regis 2-3 and won a match over Chadron State.
- Aziza Morris leads NMHU with 160 kills on the season, hitting a .172 with 2.91 kills per set.
- Marissa Sandoval-Moya runs the offense on her team with 231 assists, 4.62 per set.
- Defensively, Naya Dornic earned 187 digs, and Elise Fourt has recorded 39.0 blocks.
- NMHU and ENMU faced each other earlier in the season, resulting in a win for the Hounds, putting the overall record of the series to 54-21 with one tie in favor of Eastern.

SCOUTING THE LOBOS
- Sul Ross holds a 0-17 record on the season, 0-7 in conference play.
- The Lobos faced Texas Woman's and Dallas Baptist falling 0-3 in both matches.
- Antyiahna Lang leads the Lobos with 137 kills with a .251 hitting average on the season and scoring 146.0 total points.
- Defensively, Emily Scott leads with 106 digs, averaging 1.89 per set.
- Eastern also faced Sul Ross previously in the season, winning 3-2, putting the overall record of the series at 26-13 in favor of ENMU.

SCOUTING THE MUSTANGS
- The Mustangs have gone 11-7 in the season and 5-2 in conference play.
- Western had a very successful past week after defeating, Texas Permian Basin 3-0, Dallas Baptist 3-1, and Texas Woman's 3-2. WNMU will face West Texas A&M this Friday before the contest against Eastern on Saturday.
- Daphne Posthumus leads the Mustangs with 166 kills, hitting at a .307 with 2.55 kills per set. Posthumus is also a defensive leader with 81.0 blocks on the season, 27 solo and 54 assists.
- Mikelle McAfee leads the team defensively with 253 digs and 3.89 digs per set.
- ENMU fell to WNMU earlier in the season. Eastern still holds the record in the overall series against Western 36-20.
